In "Biodegradable Humor," Yori Yanover gleefully skewers nitwit ideas on the left and the right in an hour of unscripted humor. The happy-go-lucky journalist and author of apocalyptic fantasy fiction ("The Cabalist's Daughter") mocks traditional views while reflecting on his personal history and politics ("Wanna’ see my war wound?"), applying ordinary Jewish thinking to flashpoint issues (“Everybody in America is a Puritan” and “Peace in the Middle East in one hour or your money back”). He also interviews his audience (“Come, sit on my panel”) and leads funny group oaths and campfire songs for the pure joy of being deeply, deeply silly. The hour will leave you wondering if Yanover might be the last hope for thinking people, or just a big, lovable wacko.
